Smith Moodle will be unavailable from 9am to noon on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 so that we can upgrade our system from version 2.3 to version 2.4. At that time we will also introduce a new default theme. The new theme addresses a number of display problems with the current one and emphasizes readability and ease of course management. Most of the changes are cosmetic, but there are also some welcome enhancements to various functions.
Improvements to course editing:
When editing is turned on the control icons to manage activities are now organized into neat columns on the left where they are easier to scan.
A QuickSets block makes it easy to reorganize or add topics in a large course. (You will need to add it to your course page in order to use it.)
And we will continue to enjoy major improvements from the beginning of the summer:
Drag-and-drop file uploading
Unified assignment type
